The Crossing Place Trail is a 5.1 kilometre loop at Gateway Lakes on Gateway Island in Wodonga, near where Bungambrawatha Creek and Oddies Creek historically met the Murray River. Interpretive stops cover traditional crossing places, the story of Yarre the Mailman, a scar tree, and the importance of the billabong environment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
