Listing an event

How do I get an event listed?

Send it through the contact form with the date, the venue address, the start time and what it costs. We check the venue exists and that the date is real, then it goes up. Events run by a business we already list are linked back to that listing.

What happens to an event once it has passed?

The page stays where it is. It gets a banner saying the event has finished and a link back to what is coming up next. Nothing is deleted and nothing 404s, because a URL that once had a link pointing at it should keep working.

Does it cost anything to list an event?

No. Listing an event is free and there is no paid position on this page. Events are ordered by date, soonest first, and nothing moves that order.
