Walking Trails · Beechworth, VIC
Woolshed Falls
Woolshed Falls is a ten minute drive north of Beechworth in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park, where Reedy Creek spills across a broad sheet of granite. An observation deck gives views to the falls and the valley below, which is at its most dramatic after heavy rain, and self guided walking trails lead past alluvial gold workings from the days when thousands of diggers worked this ground. A 6km walking track links the falls back to Beechworth. The rocks are slippery, so sturdy footwear is advised and children should be supervised.
