Riverside Wagga Beach
Riverside Wagga Beach is a sandy river beach on the Murrumbidgee about five minutes from the CBD, with grassed shady picnic areas, sheltered barbecues, sculptures and event spaces. Swimmers cool off in the river during the warmer months and paddlers launch kayaks and canoes from here. It also has a large destination playground catering for all ages and abilities, food and drink vans nearby, and forms part of the Wiradjuri Walking Track.
