Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens
The Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens sit at the base of Willans Hill and cover 22 acres. Within the grounds are a mini zoo, a free flight aviary, a children's adventure playground and a rainforest section, plus the Tree Chapel and a Chinese Pavilion. Garden areas showcase camellias, cacti and succulents, proteas, Australian natives and roses. Covered barbecues are available and the Willans Hill Miniature Railway runs through the gardens on the first and third Sunday of each month.
