Birramal Conservation Area
Birramal Conservation Area is a 128-hectare site set aside for environmental conservation, taking in the section of the Wiradjuri Trail between the Olympic Highway and Holbrook Road. It can be explored on foot or by bike and offers views over Wagga Wagga and surrounds. The site protects an endangered White Box Woodland community that supports the locally endangered squirrel glider, and glider poles, new tree plantings and artificial nest boxes are visible along the way.
