AusCycling replaced Cycling Australia, Mountain Bike Australia and BMX Australia in November 2020, so one national membership now covers riding on both sides of the Murray, which is rare for sport on this border. Racing needs at least a Club membership, though one day and seven day event licences exist for a first try. Helmets are compulsory in both states, and summer training shifts to early morning.
